We are pleased to announce that at the Pixel Advertising Shop we are giving away free pixels on our main pixel grid!

Here’s how it works.

We have set up a new payment scheme with Transact Social so that when you post a tweet or Facebook post through a special link, we in return give you a free $50 pixel ad.

Once you have posted a tweet or a Facebook post via our special Transact Social link you will then be taken to a form where you can input all your information and upload your image. We then need to verify your tweet or Facebook post and once approved your free pixels will be added to our main pixel grid normally within 12 hours.

To get your free pixels please click free pixels and follow the on screen instructions. Enjoy!

Training

Jul 7, 2010

With my departure date getting ever nearer for my 1000 mile charity I thought I would give you all an update with my training. Last weekend I broke the 100 mile barrier and rode 103 miles on the Saturday. I rode fairly hard and was totally shattered by the time I got home – think is was due to running low on sugars but was really please with my effort. Weekends previously to this I’ve been hitting about 80 miles a day which included some massive climbs up over the Southdowns so I’m fairly pleased with my fitness.

I’m reckoning that the ride will take 13 days, averaging about 85 miles a day. I was a little concerned with my fitness levels but the pace will be a lot slower than my weekend rides so as long as I eat and drink sensibly and ride at a steady rate I should be fine!

During in the working week as well I try and jump on my bike a few times in the evenings and ride about 30 miles each time. Every other night I do some strength and weight training with some free weights so fingers crossed I’ll be fine.

Really looking forward to it now and the maps arrived the other day so I’m going to work out my route this week! There’s lots of info too on the web about John O’Groats to Land’s End so will hopefully get some good tips.

So far I’ve raised £345 for Cancer Research UK which is fantastic! To support me please buy some pixels or visit my justgiving website at http://www.justgiving.com/Neil-Croughton

A big thank you to all those that have sponsored me so far :)
